"I Love It When A Plan Comes Together" - Col. John "Hannibal" Smith / The A-Team

May 25, 2025

Number + picture verifications / clarifications
  • Table Buy In: $5,000 / Crapless
  • Color: $31,300
  • Profit: $26,300
  • *ATS Bet: $300 - $100 All $100 Small $100 Tall
  • Full ATS Hit: $21,000
So far this year my bigger 5 figure hits have all had an identifiable pattern to them - quite possibly a traceable modus operandi --- Late night (read: early morning between 12-3am), Aria (as a last stop before bed), me as the shooter, an empty table, intense focus, 1-2 attempts at glory and most importantly a very specific predetermined betting plan that was currently under obsessive mental construction and/or being fine tuned.

On a recent recording (that has yet to be edited) I was describing to Ed how I approach my sessions. I view them almost like I'm the leader of a crew mapping out a particular bank heist (you know the scene in the movie where you roll out the building blueprints on the table, detail the vault schematics and map out all the laser alarms...that kind of thing). Not only is my approach tactical but very casino specific meaning my game plan is deliberately tailored to what their specific felts/limits offer.

Saturday night's hit was on my first toss at the "main" crapless table at Aria. My approach was similar to the unsuccessful plan at Durango that I had just frustratingly returned home from. There were however multiple important factors at play that were different between Aria & Durango all of which are what I believe proved to be difference makers. I will bring these up in detail on the next Dice Coach Dials In episode because these are factors I have a hunch Beau will also deem very relevant. Discussing this session will also be interesting to hear from Ed's perspective as well.

In essence, my plan was simple. I have 3 dominant numbers using the 62/26 set. Let's bet big but efficiently maximising my tendencies as well as leaving the door open for a few different revenue rivers to possibly start flowing. Similarly to the last 23 & Me hit (which was only 2 sessions ago at Aria in April) this was at warp speed in terms of tosses. As few as 12 but possibly 13 accounting for a margin of memory error but given that my bets were so specific and I was so dialed in I can 100% confidently claim this was at max a 13 roller.

The Roman philosopher Seneca tweeted "Luck is when preparation meets opportunity" . I think this is exactly in line with The A-Team approach. This shit rarely just happens by chance but more so is the culmination/intersection of hard work, thought, planning, courage and of course fortuitous bounces of the dice.

Is there some reason why you work 40 hard hours to earn $500, then spend four hard hours giving it away to your favorite casino? Has anyone, at any casino, ever thanked you?
