COACH WHAT IS A PUT BET?

I have been getting a lot of questions about the "Put" bet recently. There is an excellent article on www.dicesetter.com that explains the use for this rather uncommon bet.

The link to that article is:
www.dicesetter.com/craps_strategy/strat11.html

The collective consensus is to do a put-bet only when odds are 10X or higher.

The best place in Las Vegas for "put" bets is Cromwell on the Strip. They now offer 100X odds!

The big advantage of put bets is that you get to choose your own point numbers. The disadvantage is that you miss out on the come-out sevens and elevens. But remember, you don't add any odds until the point is established. So on come-out sevens and elevens, all you win is your minimum flat bet which usually is just $5 or $10.

Your chances of winning are greater when your point is a six or eight. So, you may want to try the "Put" bet the next time you play at a casino offering "Put" bets and 10X odds or more.

See you in the pits.

Another 20 minute roll!  I think between that little modification and adopting your betting tactics, that this will work well in the long run.  Thanks again!  - Bill -
