Question: What dice set do I use for the "YO" or 11?

This is a good time for this question with the Hilton Craps tournament coming up in September.

The normal entry fee for this tournament is $499.00 (and includes three nights lodging) with total prize monies of $100,000.00!!

But why pay $499.00 when you can get in for FREE!! All you have to do is throw an 11 on the come out roll and you're in!! You don't even have to be the shooter, as long as you bet $5.00 on the 11 and it hits on the come out roll.

Not only will you get paid the $75.00 for the bet, (and still be up on that bet) but you have also earned a FREE entry into the tournament. What could be sweeter!

Now, to answer your question - How do we set and bet?

I recommend the 5/6 - 6/5 set which will give you at 6-5, 5-6,1-2,2-1. As you can see this gives you craps, eleven and even a few 7's.

How do you bet? Place a $5.00 single unit on the pass line, place a $5.00 bet on "YO" 11 and a single unit $5.00 on the "world"…. Yes, the "world bet". Although the Hilton only requires you bet on the pass line and 11 if you are the shooter, and only on the 11 if you are not the shooter, I recommend this bet combination to maximize your wins and limit your losses.

When you use the 5/6 - 6/5 set, you will throw a lot of 1-1, 12-12, 1-2, and 7's. The "world" is your protection bet. The primary numbers on this set is 11 and Ace-Duce, and it is the 11 that gets you into the tournament.

Remember that registration is Sept. 9th. And the craps tournament starts on Sept. 10th, finishing up on the 11th. The normal entry fee is $499.00 to enter this tournament including a room for three nights. And the total prize monies are your share of $100,000.00!!

We already have about 30 plus of our own students that have qualified for this tournament. Some qualified by themselves on their own throws. Some qualified by myself, The Dice Coach, and some by our own web-master, Pablo, who qualified 8 players at one time, on one roll!! From the end of the table!! How about that!!

Good luck using this set and I will see you in the Tournament.

Another 20 minute roll!  I think between that little modification and adopting your betting tactics, that this will work well in the long run.  Thanks again!  - Bill -
